Chromaluxe SP

Chromaluxe Metal Prints are made by a process called sublimation, where heat is used to infuse the print into the surface of the Aluminium metal. Due to the nature of the coating on the Chromaluxe aluminium sheets there can sometimes be very small blemishes on the surface of the coating.  We cannot offer reprints for these small imperfections. Prints are more vibrant when compared to other printing methods, and the scratch resistant hard wearing surface make it ideal for commercial use. The print does not need to be mounted under glass or acrylic, and can be wiped with leaning chemicals, without fear of damage.

We mount the Chromaluxe SP prints in 3 ways

The  Chromaluxe SP Contemporary Metal Print

The metal print is bonded onto a 3mm ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) backing plate which is slightly smaller than the print. An extruded aluminium frame is adhered to the back, which holds it off the wall making the image appear to float. Screws and a hanging rail is supplied making your artwork ready to hang.

The   Chromaluxe SP Timeless Metal Mount

The metal print is bonded onto a 3mm black or white oversize acrylic backing plate, which gives the appearance of a mat behind the print. There is a 3mm spacer between the print and the backing acrylic, making it float on the backing plate.

An extruded aluminium frame is attached to the back for ease of hanging the artwork, which holds it off the wall making the image appear to float. Screws and a hanging rail is supplied making your artwork ready to hang.

The  Chromaluxe SP Floating Metal Print

An extruded aluminium frame is bonded onto the back of the metal print, which holds it off the wall making the image appear to float. This is only available on prints up to 600mm x 400mm.
Screws and a hanging rail is supplied making your artwork ready to hang.
